Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience; DoD experience preferred.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• Hands-on modeling-and-simulation in aerospace/defense; leadership of GNC, software, or M&S projects.
• Experience standardizing engineering processes and delivering complex programs.
• 5+ years of real-world program execution experience.
• Onsite work in Chandler, Arizona with travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 22–26 engineers across M&S, GNC, software, and AI disciplines.
• Provide performance management, coaching, and development planning.
• Own and deliver high-fidelity modeling-and-simulation products for missions.
• Oversee hands-on execution, reviews, and validation of simulations and analyses.
• Drive standardization, automation, and AI-native development efforts.
• Develop verification, validation, scripts, and regression assessments.
• Collaborate with chief engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate solutions.
• Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
