Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Analyst to support high-fidelity missile system models and simulations at Redstone Arsenal. The role emphasizes developing analytic methods, processing large Monte Carlo datasets, and delivering actionable insights to engineers and government stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring a strong quantitative background, proficiency in Python and MATLAB, and the ability to structure analyses, validate results, and present findings clearly.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related technical field required.
• 3+ years of data analysis, engineering analysis, modeling and simulation, or test analysis experience.
• Experience analyzing technical data to assess system or simulation performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and MATLAB tools to automate data extraction and reduction, statistical analysis, and visualizations.
• Perform detailed analysis of sensors algorithms and end-to-end simulation system performance.
• Execute Monte Carlo parametric, sensitivity, and uncertainty studies to characterize system behavior across nominal and off-nominal conditions.
• Communicate conclusions and provide clear recommendations to engineering teams and government.
