Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Modeling & Simulation Engineer to support the development and analysis of modeling and simulation capabilities used to evaluate system performance.

You will work under senior ModSim guidance, implement simulation models, develop scenarios, and analyze results within established engineering workflows. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance, and familiarity with C++, Python, or MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical discipline.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a TS/SCI DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support development, integration, execution, and analysis of modeling and simulation capabilities.
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of simulation models and tools.
• Develop/modify scenarios to support analyses and test objectives.
• Perform data processing, analysis, and interpretation of results.
• Support model verification, validation, and performance assessment.
• Assist with integration of models with software, hardware, and test environments.
• Execute simulations, troubleshoot issues, and document configurations and results.
• Collaborate with engineering personnel to develop reusable modeling capabilities.
• Integrate ModSim products into software development, test, and engineering workflows.
