Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a mid-level Modeling & Simulation Engineer to support multi-domain defense simulations across aeronautical, ground, sea, and undersea platforms. You will develop high-fidelity models, run Monte Carlo analyses, and deliver clear briefs on results to inform strategy and design.

The role requires 3+ years in physics-based M&S, experience with GOTS tools like AFSIM/EADSIM/ITASE, and proficiency in Python/Java/C++.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with physics-based modeling & simulation.
• Experience with government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) M&S tools such as AFSIM, EADSIM, ITASE, Command PE, or NGTS.
• Experience with post-processing simulation results and generating dashboards and briefs of results including quantitative analysis.
• Modeling of systems or components such as sensors, propulsion, vehicles, and weapon systems.
• Ability to create, test, and debug code in Python, Java, C#, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run high-fidelity system models for multi-domain defense simulations.
• Perform Monte Carlo analyses and analyze results with dashboards and briefs.
• Model interactions among sensors, propulsion, vehicles, and weapon systems.
• Translate requirements into validated, repeatable simulation studies.
