Job summary

DCS is seeking a qualified MS&A engineer for defense simulations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will build models in AFSIM, script dynamic behaviors, and craft realistic mission scenarios to support study design and decision-making.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, active TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a technical degree, and at least two years of relevant experience. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • BS degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to apply analytical and scientific methods.
  • Scripting or programming experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build detailed military models and entities in AFSIM.
  • Develop dynamic scripting for realistic behaviors and interactions.
  • Craft mission scenarios that reflect authentic operational conditions.
  • Support MS&A study design and execution using AFSIM.
  • Partner with pilots, technologists, and domain experts.
  • Analyze simulation results and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Work with agile software teams to enhance MS&A solutions.
  • Collaborate with study leads and customers to refine technical approaches.
