Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking an AFSIM Modeling and Simulation Specialist in Reston, VA to support MS&A initiatives across defense programs. You will build models, craft scripts, and create scenarios that mirror complex military engagements, collaborating with SMEs to capture requirements and deliver actionable results for decision-makers.

Required TS clearance eligibility and a BS in a technical field, with hands-on modeling experience and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required; TS clearance eligibility.
Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
BS degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical discipline; 5+ years of related analysis experience.
Background investigation for access to classified information (TS level DoD).
At least 2 years hands-on experience with modeling and simulation tools for engagement/mission studies.
Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.
Scripting or programming experience.
Ability to work well in team environments and travel as required.

Responsibilities

Construct military models and entities in AFSIM.
Provide dynamic scripting techniques to produce modeled entity actions/interactions in AFSIM.
Create and enhance operationally relevant scenarios representing actions and interactions between entities in AFSIM.
Contribute to MS&A study plans using AFSIM.
Collaborate with pilots and technologists to identify requirements for system implementation in AFSIM.
Analyze AFSIM results and prepare study findings for stakeholders.
Collaborate with agile AFSIM software teams to build MS&A solutions.
Coordinate with study leads and customer stakeholders to identify study requirements and develop technical approaches.
