The role emphasizes technical awareness of pipelines, clear feedback, and leadership of remote teams to deliver game-ready content across platforms.

Qualifications

• Shipping AAA titles across platforms.
• Portfolio showing hard surface and organic game assets.
• Experience mentoring outsource teams and providing actionable feedback.
• Proficiency with modern game art pipelines and tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish visual direction with outsourcing vendors and art leads.
• Document asset production pipelines and engine requirements for external partners.
• Communicate clear feedback to outsource partners and ensure internal teams implement notes.
• Manage documentation of processes, including vert count, materials, LODs, and in-engine implementation.
• Train outsource partners in Epic art techniques and best practices.
• Foster enthusiasm in remote teams and coordinate with IP owners for asset approvals.
