Job summary

TransUnion in Chicago, IL is seeking a data analytics professional to support model risk management policies, maintain documentation, and coordinate governance across Legal, Compliance, and developers. The role blends hands-on analysis with governance responsibilities in a hybrid environment.

You will work with R, Python, SQL, Hive and Spark to extract, segment, and analyze large datasets, manage the validation plan, and deliver training materials while communicating clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field such as statistics or financial mathematics.
• At least four years of professional analytics experience in financial services.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience explaining technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of model risk management policies and guidance.
• Collect, review, and organize model documentation for validation.
• Respond to documentation requests from clients, regulators, and auditors.
• Partner with model developers, Legal, Compliance to streamline governance.
• Maintain the enterprise model inventory and improve accuracy and governance.
• Develop and manage the annual model validation plan and training materials.
• Design programs for data extraction and statistical analysis with R, Python, SQL, Hive, and Spark.
• Support development of credit risk management analytics for clients.
