Job summary

Radiance Technologies seeks a Model-Based Systems Engineer to support NASIC objectives. You will develop authoritative MBSE models and artifacts, collaborating with engineers, software developers, and government customers to strengthen security architectures and mission assurance.

The role requires strong SysML skills, experience with MBSE tools, and an active TS/SCI clearance, with preference for DoDAF/UAF experience and programming knowledge in Java/C++/Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors.
• Proficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, EA).
• Ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Knowledge of DoDAF/UAF or other architectures frameworks.
• Experience with Java, C++, or Python.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors
• Proficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifacts
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Knowledge of SysML 2.0
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks
• Ability to analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practices

Desired Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering field or related certifications such as OCSMP Certifications, INCOSE CSEP, or Project Management PMP (among others)
