Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Plainfield, IN is seeking a capable warehouse/assembly technician for a fully onsite role. You will pick components, stock and stage products, package orders for shipment, and maintain a clean area per 5S guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years manufacturing experience, familiarity with ERP systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, follow detailed instructions, and meet deadlines. The role offers benefits and opportunities within a global industrial company.

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking components and moving material associated with modifications.
• Responsible for stocking and staging products.
• Responsible for packaging orders for shipment.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following departmental 5S guidelines.
• Responsible for identifying defects and reporting errors in a timely fashion.
• Utilize available software and other technical systems that impact job performance.
• Backfill other team members as required.
• Other duties as assigned within the site.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications and Skills

• Strong technical aptitude, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, a plus 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to utilize common pneumatic and electric tools required.
• Must be able to understand and follow detailed instructions, skillfully identify and prioritize problems, and elevate them to supervision.
• Proven ability to successfully meet customer and management deadlines.
• Results-oriented, process improvement focused.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with material handling equipment (reach truck, order picker, dock stocker).
• Critical reasoning skills with the ability to identify problems and communicate issues.
• Ability to continually lift or pull with a force up to 50 pounds or more.
