Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as an equipment owner, preferably in R&D or compound semiconductor device fabrication environments.
• Proven expertise in equipment calibration, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments, including contamination control protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, and sustain MOCVD equipment for vertical GaN wafer processing.
• Provide technical ownership for equipment performance, reliability, maintenance strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Drive reliability improvement projects utilizing root cause analysis, statistical methods, and continuous improvement techniques to improve equipment performance and manufacturing outcomes.
• Lead vendor engagement and technical alignment to support tool performance, upgrades, and key operational metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, industry standards, and cleanroom best practices.
