Job summary

Leading Edge Senior Living is seeking a Resident Wellness & Mobility Specialist to help residents stay active and engaged in a warm, upscale assisted living home.

You will lead mobility-focused activities, implement fall-prevention strategies, and create individualized ROM plans while supporting residents with daily movement and ADLs. A collaborative team environment and meaningful impact on resident wellbeing are core to this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in rehabilitation, assisted living, home care, therapy assistance, or senior wellness.
• Knowledge of safe transfer techniques.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Fingerprint card or ability to obtain one.
• Caregiver Certification or ability to obtain the certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobility-focused activities to keep residents strong and safe.
• Implement fall-prevention strategies and monitor mobility changes.
• Create individualized ROM plans for residents.
• Provide hands-on support with walking, transfers, and daily movement.
• Inspire participation in wellness routines and gentle exercise.
• Track mobility progress and communicate changes to the care team.
• Assist with ADLs.
• Accompany residents on safe, enjoyable community outings.
