Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Mobility Technician to assist with patient mobility in an acute care hospital, under the direction of the rehabilitation department in partnership with nursing leadership.
The role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic math and literacy, excellent communication, and strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite, EPIC). Certification in AHA BLS is preferred and enrollment in CNA/Patient Care Technician programs is a plus.

The Mobility Technician, under the direction of the department of rehabilitation in partnership with nursing unit leadership, assists with patient care related activities to improve and enhance the mobility of patients in an acute care hospital setting.
Lifts a minimum of 35 lbs, pushes or pulls a minimum of 35 lbs, carries up to 35 lbs, and stands a minimum of 7 hours per day; Is able to lift or mobilize patients and can carry necessary equipment/supplies throughout the hospital.
