Job summary

Terrebonne General Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Physical Therapy support role to assist in providing nursing and therapy care under supervision. You will work closely with the RN or Therapist and other team members to maintain state standards of care in a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will have completed a Nurse Aide Training program or equivalent, or a Physical Therapy tech program, or hold a high school diploma or GED; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of Nurse Aide Training program or equivalent education in non-licensed nursing assistant duties, Physical Therapy tech program or similar program, or high school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing nursing and therapy care of patients under supervision.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain state standards of care in the clinical setting.
• Frequent contact with patients to support nursing and therapy staff throughout the nursing and therapy process.
