Ochsner Health is seeking a Mobility Technician to assist patients with mobility tasks, coordinate with nursing and therapy staff, and document care in EPIC. The role requires adherence to mobility protocols and strong teamwork within a hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma, BLS certification, and comfort with heavy patient handling on 12-hour shift schedules. Previous patient care experience is preferred though not required.

• Ability to function as a team member and partner with nursing staff.
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation.
• Adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Strong computer and software literacy.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with mobility tasks and transfers as directed by clinical staff.
• Support delegated treatment activities including mobility, ambulation, and transport.
• Document patient information and treatment details in EPIC.
• Inspect, maintain, and disinfect equipment; assist with supply management.
• Communicate with interprofessional team about patient responses to activities.
