Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; not required
• BLS certification required
• Preferred: 1 year patient care assistant/Nursing Assistant experience in acute care or similar
• Preferred: 6 months therapy experience (PT/OT Rehab Technician)
• Nursing student pursuing professional medical licensure in acute care

Responsibilities

• Assist patient mobility as part of the care team.
• Support delegated treatment activities: mobility, transport, bed access, lifts, ambulation.
• Collect and document patient information per PMP and EPIC.
• Inspect, maintain, clean, disinfect equipment; manage supplies.
• Communicate with interprofessional team; maintain care documentation.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance quality and safety.
• Support data collection for quality improvement and daily task prioritization
