Job summary

KAISER in Ontario, CA is seeking a Mobility Tech II to support patient care delivery and unit operations for a temporary ~3-month assignment. The role involves assisting with transfers and mobility, using lift devices, and collaborating with the RN and care team to ensure safe patient handling.

Applicants must be a California CNA with at least 1000 hours of acute clinical experience and current Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and transfer patients daily.
• California Certified Nurse Assistant with 1000 hours of recent acute clinical or skilled nursing facility experience within the last three years.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (California) and Basic Life Support are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care and reports abnormalities per nursing procedures and documents in medical records.
• Works with RN and other staff using the Multidisciplinary Plan of Care to guide patient care.
• Assists with ADLs: baths, feeding, grooming, and hygiene for patients.
• Collects specimens and records results as directed.
• Reinforces pulmonary hygiene and uses monitoring equipment (pulse oximeter, incentive spirometer).
• Assists with or performs minor treatments and procedures as trained and supervised.
