Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Mobility Tax professional in Chicago to join the People Advisory Services (PAS) Mobility team. You will deliver strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services related to global workforce mobility and cross-border assignments.

Work with a global client base, shaping tax outcomes, and collaborating with colleagues across capabilities to support complex mobility programs and employment tax planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; MST, MAcc or JD/LLM preferred.
• 3–5 years’ expatriate tax experience; Big 4 or global consultancy exposure.
• CPA license or active state bar membership.
• Understanding of automated tax-processing systems and tax laws.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence colleagues and clients.
• Analytical approach to tax; ability to convert complex data into insights.

Responsibilities

• With the Mobility Tax team, provide tax planning, compliance services and advisory support for employee mobility and cross-border assignments.
• Work with global clients to address complex tax challenges and drive sustainable business results.
• Prepare and review tax returns, guidance, and cost estimates; review and sign-off on engagements.
