Job summary

EY is recruiting for a Mobility Tax role in the United States, with participation in a global mobility team providing expatriate and cross-border tax services. The position emphasizes technical excellence, client engagement, and collaboration across geographies in a balanced hybrid environment.

You will handle complex compliance, advisory work, and cost projections, while developing leadership and mentoring junior staff within a globally connected practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; MST, MAcc or JD/LLM preferred.
• 8+ years' expatriate tax experience.
• Mandarin language skills highly desired.
• CPA license or active state bar membership.
• Understanding of automated tax-processing systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobility tax compliance and advisory services for expatriates and global assignments.
• Prepare and review US and overseas tax filings and cost projections.
• Engage clients, identify opportunities to improve processes and revenue.
• Lead workstreams from planning to implementation with resource and budget management.
