Job summary

Saint-Gobain seeks a Mobility Support Specialist to deliver frontline technical support for our mobility environment. You will support company-issued devices, manage MDM, handle inventory, and assist with security and compliance initiatives while maintaining exceptional service levels.

You will coordinate with carriers, create user guides, and participate in on-call rotations. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred and 3+ years in enterprise mobility is desired.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and related Microsoft technologies.

Job description

The Mobility Support Specialist provides technical support and administration for the organization's mobile technology environment. This role is responsible for supporting company-issued mobile devices, managing mobility-related requests, maintaining device inventory, assisting with mobile security and compliance initiatives, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The position also supports mobility projects, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement efforts across the mobility program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for company-issued mobile devices, including iOS and Android platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mobility-related issues through the IT ticketing system.
  • Assist employees, including executive users, with device setup, configuration, and support.
  • Perform Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration and support software deployments.
  • Process mobile device and accessory orders and maintain accurate device inventory records.
  • Coordinate with wireless carriers to resolve service, activation, and account-related issues.
  • Create and update user documentation, knowledge base articles, and how-to guides.
  • Support mobility projects, including device refreshes, platform migrations, and application rollouts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Promote adherence to security standards, device compliance requirements, and mobility best practices.
  • Assist with lost or stolen device reporting and remediation activities.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Participate in occasional after-hours support and on-call rotations, as needed.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Is this job for you ?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise mobility solutions, mobile device management, or end-user technology services preferred.
  • Experience supporting internal customers in a large, complex organization is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; experience with additional Microsoft technologies and workflow tools is a plus.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $57,500 to $86,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 7% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $61,500 to $92,500. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
