Job summary

The City of Cambridge seeks a Mobility Strategy Manager to lead long-range transportation planning under the Transportation Planning umbrella. You will drive multi-modal strategies, oversee the Zero Emission Transportation Plan, manage consultants, and advance equity-focused engagement in Cambridge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with seven years of related experience (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• Experience supervising staff and/or volunteers.
• Equivalent education/experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaborations within the Department of Transportation and other City Departments on planning and implementation projects (e.g., Cambridge Access and Mobility Plan).
• Communicate proposed mobility steps publicly and clearly to residents.
• Direct the Zero Emission Transportation Plan implementation with materials, presentations, and community engagement.
• Manage advisory groups, grants, and multi-year project budgets.
• Develop and manage mobility programs for micromobility, ride-hailing, AVs, carshare, and electrification.
