Job summary

TSW, based in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Mobility Practice Leader to shape the future of its mobility work. You will lead innovative, people-centered transportation planning and design for multimodal plans, corridor studies, safe streets, streetscapes, and connected networks.

The role requires building client relationships, mentoring teams, and coordinating across four regional offices to expand services. Strong leadership and project delivery experience are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in mobility, transportation planning, engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning, engineering, urban design, or related field.
• Strong verbal, graphic, and written communication.
• Knowledge of the relationship between transportation, land use, urban design, development patterns, and community character.
• Knowledge of multimodal planning, complete streets, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, and context-sensitive solutions.
• Established network of clients and strong project delivery history.
• Business development experience: identifying opportunities, developing scopes and fees, proposals, interviews, and securing new work.
• Experience leading, supervising, and mentoring planners, designers, engineers, and other professionals.
• Strong portfolio and professional references.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mobility Practice Area across offices.
• Pursue work in the Mobility Practice Areas.
• Mentor Mobility Practice Area staff and other staff across the four offices.
• Collaborate with principal group and studio leaders on staff utilization and business development.
