Job summary

Woundlocal is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to provide mobile, in-home advanced wound care to patients across Texas as part of our clinical team. This role combines hands-on nursing with compassionate patient care, delivering high-quality wound management directly to patients who need it most.

Compensation ranges from $28–$40 per hour for a full-time schedule; travel throughout Texas is required. Texas RN or LVN license and at least 2 years in nursing are required; wound-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

Active Texas RN or LVN license is required.
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience; wound care preferred.
Comfortable traveling to patients' homes and care facilities across Texas.
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform wound assessments, debridement, and advanced dressing changes per orders.
Travel to patients' homes or care facilities for mobile wound care visits.
Monitor healing progress and escalate concerns to providers as needed.
Educate patients and caregivers on home wound care and infection prevention.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR and coordinate with care teams.
