Job summary

Maternal and Family Health Services seeks a dedicated WIC Mobile Unit Specialist to deliver services at community locations outside MFHS sites. You will collect data, screen clients for eligibility, and provide nutrition education and breastfeeding support to eligible clients in line with program procedures.

Responsibilities include operating the mobile unit safely, coordinating schedules with partners, and attending outreach events to promote WIC services in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years experience preferred.
• Three years safe driving experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred in some sites.
• Valid PA driver’s license with zero points.
• eWIC card readers experience.
• Hemocue blood analyzer and microcuvettes.
• Infant/Adult scales and height boards.

Responsibilities

• Provide WIC services from a mobile unit to designated locations.
• Collect data and perform screenings for eligibility.
• Deliver nutrition education and breastfeeding support.
• Explain program rules, rights, and responsibilities.
• Maintain mobile unit inventory and operate safely.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with partners.
• Attend outreach events and ensure unit readiness.
• Prepare reports and maintain administrative correspondence.
