Job summary

Healing Strides Counseling is seeking a Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapist (CVRT) to travel within the Augusta area, conducting assessments and delivering rehabilitation services to individuals with vision impairments. The role is itinerant and includes planning and delivering instruction in daily living, communication, and assistive technology, with a focus on client-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Masters in Vision Rehabilitation or related field.
• Current ACVREP certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience with assistive technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Teach independent living, low vision, communication, and tech skills.
• Recommend adaptive devices and manage referrals.
• Maintain client case records and outcome data.
• Collaborate with DBVI and other agencies.
