Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in blind/vision rehabilitation or closely related field.
• ACVREP certification or equivalent required at GS-11; grandfathering provisions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized rehabilitation services to Veterans with visual impairments.
• Assess veterans and design training plans to promote independence and safety.
• Deliver instruction and coordinate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Education

Bachelor's in blind/vision rehabilitation or related field

Bachelor's with related coursework or certificate in orientation and mobility/vision rehabilitation

Foreign graduates with specialization in blind rehabilitation
