Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice invites compassionate veterinarians to practice end-of-life care in a home setting across Portland, Hillsboro, Beaverton and surrounding areas. Work at a measured pace, on a mobile basis, with autonomy and mentorship from experienced colleagues.

Choose from 5-day full-time, 4-day, or 2–3 day self-managed schedules with prorated pay; base salaries start at $90,000 or $110,000 with quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent required, valid US veterinary license.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life care in clients' homes across Portland, Hillsboro, Beaverton and surrounding areas.
• Communicate with families to honor the pet's story and answer questions with kindness.
• Maintain professional mentorship and collaboration with the Heartstrings team.
