Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is seeking veterinarians to provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care across Melbourne, Titusville, and surrounding Florida areas. Roles offer flexible scheduling, independence, and meaningful patient-family interactions in a private, staff-supported setting.

The ideal candidate holds a DVM/VMD, active NC license or eligibility, and a willingness to work some weekends.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Active NC veterinary license or eligibility.
• Valid driver's license.
• Compassionate heart with commitment to end-of-life care.
• Availability including some weekends.
• Hospice experience not required; transitioning into hospice supported.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and peaceful euthanasia care for families.
• Coordinate with families and aftercare services to ensure smooth transitions.
• Maintain professional independence while receiving support from the Heartstrings team.

Who We're Looking For

We offer 2-Day, 3-Day, 4-Day, and 5-Day employment opportunities throughout Melbourne & Titusville, Florida and surrounding communities. Our compensation structure is designed to reward your dedication while providing financial stability, with 4-Day positions starting at $90,000 annually and 5-day positions offering a $105,000 annual base salary, plus additional Quarterly Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities. Our Two, Three-Day and Self-Managed Flex Scheduling Opportunities Available with Pro-Rated Compensation adjusted based on the agreed-upon schedule.
