Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join our Melbourne & Titusville service area, offering in-home hospice and compassionate euthanasia care. Qualifications

DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree.
Active North Carolina veterinary license or eligibility.

Availability consistent with the position's schedule, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home hospice and peaceful euthanasia care.
Coordinate with families and aftercare staff to ensure smooth visits.
Maintain professional autonomy while our support team coordinates appointments and aftercare.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree
Active North Carolina veterinary license or eligibility

Hospice experience is not required. We'll support you as you transition into this meaningful field of veterinary medicine.

We offer 2-Day, 3-Day, 4-Day, and 5-Day employment opportunities throughout Melbourne & Titusville , Florida and surrounding communities.

Our compensation structure is designed to reward your dedication while providing financial stability, with 4-Day positions starting at $90,000 annually and 5-day positions offering a $105,000 annual base salary, plus additional Quarterly Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities.

Our Two, Three-Day and Self-Managed Flex Scheduling Opportunities Available with Pro-Rated Compensation adjusted based on the agreed-upon schedule.
