Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare in Jacksonville, Florida & surrounding areas is seeking veterinarians for in-home hospice and compassionate euthanasia care across Jacksonville and surrounding areas.

We are a family-owned practice with no non-competes, offering flexible 2- to 5-day schedules, meaningful medicine, and strong support so you can focus on patient families. NC licensure eligibility is noted for some candidates.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Active North Carolina veterinary license or eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A compassionate heart and commitment to exceptional end-of-life care.
• Availability consistent with the position’s schedule, including some weekends.
• Hospice experience is not required; we’ll support you as you transition into this field.

We offer 2-Day, 3-Day, 4-Day, and 5-Day employment opportunities throughout Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding communities.

Our compensation structure is designed to reward your dedication while providing financial stability, with 4-Day positions starting at $90,000 annually and 5-day positions offering a $105,000 annual base salary, plus additional Quarterly Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities.

Our Two, Three-Day and Self-Managed Flex Scheduling Opportunities Available with Pro-Rated Compensation adjusted based on the agreed-upon schedule.
