Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Charlotte, NC seeks a Veterinarian to deliver compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for families in their homes. You will work within a family-owned practice that values independence, meaningful medicine, work-life balance, and a supportive team.

We offer 4- and 5-day schedules with base salaries starting at $110,000 and $135,000 respectively, plus quarterly performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree required.
• Active North Carolina veterinary license or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license and compassionate approach to end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and peaceful euthanasia care.
• Coordinate with families and schedule appointments with the support team.
• Maintain professional autonomy while receiving team support.

Who We're Looking For

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree

Our compensation structure is designed to reward your dedication while providing financial stability, with 4-Day positions starting at $110,000 annually and 5-day positions offering a $135,000 annual base salary, plus additional Quarterly Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities.

Our Two, Three-Day and Self-Managed Flex Scheduling opportunities available with compensation adjusted based on the agreed-upon schedule.
