Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare in Charlotte, NC, is hiring veterinarians for in-home hospice and euthanasia care. Roles can be Full-Time or Part-Time, with emphasis on compassionate, patient- and family-centered service.

We offer flexible scheduling, strong team support, and independence in clinical decisions. Compensation starts at a base for 4‑day and 5‑day schedules, with bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Who We’re Looking For

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree
• Active North Carolina veterinary license or eligibility
• Valid driver’s license
• A compassionate heart and commitment to exceptional end-of-life care
• Availability consistent with the position’s schedule, including some weekends

Hospice experience is not required. We’ll support you as you transition into this meaningful field of veterinary medicine.

Veterinarian Compensation & Schedule Opportunities

We offer 2-Day, 3-Day, 4-Day, and 5-Day employment opportunities throughout Charlotte, Waxhaw, Concord, Matthews, Huntersville, Monroe, NC, and surrounding communities.

Our compensation structure is designed to reward your dedication while providing financial stability, with 4-Day positions starting at $110,000 annually and 5-day positions offering a $135,000 annual base salary, plus additional Quarterly Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities.

Our Two, Three-Day and Self-Managed Flex Scheduling opportunities available with compensation adjusted based on the agreed-upon schedule.
