Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is seeking veterinarians to provide compassionate in-home end-of-life care across Tampa, Lutz, Citrus Park, University & Clearwater, FL. You will practice independently on the road with mentorship and support from a dedicated team, focusing on dignity and peaceful goodbyes for pets and families.

Choose a schedule that fits your life: 2–5 day/week options, including self-managed scheduling.

Qualifications

• DVM (or equivalent) required, licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Strong communication with families during end-of-life care.
• Ability to work independently in home-visit settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home compassionate veterinary care and euthanasia
• Consult with families and guide them through end-of-life decisions
• Manage flexible schedules and travel between service areas
