Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a Compassionate Veterinarian to join our in-home end-of-life care team in Florida. You’ll practice medicine on the road, with meaningful time for families and pets, not the clock. Choose a 2–5 day/week schedule with self-management options, plus generous benefits.

We offer onboarding support, mentorship, and no non-compete to protect your professional autonomy. You’ll complete license verification and background checks, and you’ll drive within the local area

Qualifications

• Compassionate veterinarian with patient-centered approach.
• Experience in hospice/end-of-life care preferred.
• Ability to work independently on the road with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets in their home.
• Practice medicine on the road with a self-managed schedule.
• Coordinate with families to explain options and support during end-of-life moments.
• Complete license verification and background checks as part of onboarding.
• No fixed rotation; choose weekend days and schedule that fits life.
