Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care across the Tampa/Lutz area in Florida. You will practice medicine on the road, with a focus on empathy, clear communication, and meeting families where they are.

Enjoy a flexible schedule (2–5 days per week) with self-managed options, mentorship, and competitive base pay plus quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 90 lbs with assistance.
• Background check, license verification and driving record review prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, in-home hospice and end-of-life care to pets.
• Practice independently on the road with mentorship available.
• Schedule visits with flexible days to fit family needs.
