Job summary

BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care is seeking a Relief Veterinary Technician for per diem mobile visits in the Arvada, CO area. You will drive the mobile unit, assist veterinarians, and provide compassionate, Fear Free patient care during in-home visits.

Ideal candidates have a licensed veterinary technician certification with 5+ years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and excellent client communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician with strong clinical skills and fear-free handling.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in veterinary support roles.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and client-centered approach.
• Commitment to Fear Free techniques and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the mobile veterinary vehicle to and from client homes.
• Assist the veterinarian with patient handling, restraint, diagnostics and treatment per Fear Free.
• Communicate clearly with clients before, during and after visits.
• Perform technical duties: collect samples, administer meds, prep and submit lab work, maintain records.
• Support compassionate, individualized care for every patient.
