Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Ann Arbor, Howell, Ypsilanti, Brighton, Livonia, Canton, MI and surrounding areas as a mobile hospice practitioner. You will deliver compassionate hospice and euthanasia care directly at clients' homes, enabling flexible scheduling while maintaining high clinical and emotional standards.

The role supports your well-being with onboarding, mentorship, and a robust support network.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidateswill be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families as a mobile veterinarian.
• Practice independently while remaining connected to Lap of Love through onboarding, mentorship, and support channels.
• Join a community of veterinarians and support staff focused on compassionate care and client communication.
