Job summary

SharkNinja, headquartered in Needham, MA, is seeking a Designer, UX - Mobile Apps to shape the connected app experiences for our Shark and Ninja hardware. You’ll own the design cycle from concept to shipping, collaborating with product, hardware, and software teams to deliver polished mobile experiences on iOS and Android.

We expect 2–4 years of UX design for mobile, a strong portfolio, and fluency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

2–4 years of UX design experience for iOS and/or Android (strong co-op / 1+ year candidates also considered)
A portfolio that demonstrates strong mobile UX thinking — required
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; AI design tool experience is a plus
Comfort working at the hardware-software intersection; physical product experience is a bonus
Sharp eye for detail, fast execution, and a collaborative mindset
Bachelor's in UX/UI, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent

Responsibilities

Define connected app experiences for next-gen Shark and Ninja hardware products
Turn consumer insights and research into intuitive, polished mobile interfaces
Build interactive prototypes to test, learn, and refine quickly
Contribute to and apply the SharkNinja UX design system (UI elements, typography, color, accessibility)
Partner closely with engineering in sprint-based cycles to ensure designs ship with integrity
