Job summary

Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST) seeks a Mobile Unit Driver & Fleet Maintenance Technician to safely operate and maintain mobile medical units and fleet vehicles. You will transport units, assist with setup, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure readiness for daily operations.

You will inspections, keep records, comply with DOT regulations, and support enrollment data entry where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class B CDL for vehicle classification.
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fleet vehicles in compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of mobile units and fleet vehicles.
• Transport mobile units to locations and assist with setup and readiness.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and renewals.
• Maintain fleet records, service histories, and regulatory documents.
• Assist with enrollment forms and data entry in Practice Management Software.
• Perform routine maintenance on facilities and equipment when not driving.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete HIPAA training.
• Attend to other duties to support transportation and operations.
