Job summary

UK King’s Daughters is seeking a Mobile Health Unit Coordinator to drive and maintain the unit daily, ensure vehicle safety, and support the healthcare team during clinic sessions. This role coordinates mobile health events and outreach to improve access to care.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2-3 years in a healthcare setting, with a Class B CDL active (Class A preferred). Responsibilities include staffing, documentation, maintenance, and stock control in a community relations

Qualifications

• CDL (Class B) active; Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients on/off the Mobile Unit and monitor medical/mental status.
• Provide high level customer service and represent the Medical Center positively.
• Maintain positive working relationships with staff, technicians, and community partners.
• Complete work and documentation accurately and within established time frames.
• Perform general cleaning, organization, and maintenance of equipment and work areas to ensure safety and appearance.
• Ensure the Mobile Unit is serviced as required and maintain maintenance logs.
• Cross-train to assist with screenings, registration, and other clinical or non-clinical duties.
• Maintain Mobile Health Unit stock and manage supplies; demonstrate accountability for property and equipment.
• Assist with staffing and organizing community health events; take a leadership role in addressing community health needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Responsible for driving and maintaining the Mobile Health Unit daily. Ensures vehicle safety and readiness for scheduled operations. Assists the healthcare team during clinic sessions to support efficient service delivery. Coordinates scheduling and organization of Mobile Health events. Supports outreach efforts by facilitating mobile healthcare access.

Experience Requirement

2-3 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
