Job summary

Absolute International Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard - Driving to maintain a safe, secure environment in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities include driving patrols, monitoring access points, and reporting incidents with a professional demeanor.

Required qualifications include background checks, a valid Guard Card and Driver's License, CPR/First Aid/AED, and the ability to drive a company patrol vehicle. This is a part-time, non-exempt role with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, and client requirements.
• Ability to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity
• Perform thorough routine driving patrols of the assigned area including maintenance equipment storage yards
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
• Maintain authorized less-than-lethal equipment in compliance with company standards
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
• Ability to drive a company patrol vehicle in a safe and defensive manner for driving positions
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures
