Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver in Houston, TX. You will patrol venues, deter security incidents, and deliver courteous service to tenants and visitors while documenting activity.

In this role you’ll join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and customer focus. A valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and background check are required; driving positions also require licensing as applicable. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories per law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading zones, and property perimeters to identify unusual activity and hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, contractor, and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and notify personnel.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence to deter unauthorized activity throughout the property.
