Job summary

Airoldi Brothers, Inc. is hiring a full-time truck and trailer mechanic to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty straight trucks at our Kenosha, WI location.

The role includes performing preventive maintenance on trailers and completing repair orders, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license (CDL highly preferred), strong communication and time-management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact verbally and in writing; build relationships with team members, customers, and vendors.
• Must be able to effectively and accurately complete detailed work with a sense of urgency; safety first.
• Demonstrate diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
• Demonstrate ability to read and understand English and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty straight trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailer equipment including routine repairs and repair orders.
• Inspect and repair brakes, tires, drivelines, suspension, electrical, and safety-critical components.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve trailer-related issues and locate parts.
• Document work order details in the company’s internal order and billing system.
