Job summary

Airoldi Brothers, Inc. is hiring a diesel mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain heavy- and medium-duty trucks at our Madison, WI location. You will work on engines, transmissions, and power systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document work performed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of diesel experience, a valid driver's license, and strong diagnostic skills. CDL is preferred or obtainable, with opportunities for growth in a family-owned shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; equivalent.
• Diesel mechanic with 3+ years of experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical components of vehicles to identify problems.
• Overhaul and repair heavy-duty engines, clutches, transmissions, differentials, power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems on medium/heavy trucks.
• Install engines, transmissions, and other components.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Submit technical reports and documentation per manufacturers’ requirements.
