Job summary

Alpha Transport Inc. is seeking a Mobile Truck & Trailer Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of fuel-hauling trucks and trailers in North Las Vegas, NV. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and handle major and minor repairs while upholding safety standards.

The role requires experience with truck/trailer maintenance, a valid license, basic tools, and strong safety awareness. You will work with a team to minimize downtime and keep equipment in peak condition.

Qualifications

• Experience in Truck & Trailer Maintenance (fuel tanker experience a plus!).
• Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not required).
• Own Basic Tools to perform job functions.
• Basic Computer Skills to log work and complete reports.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose & Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on fuel-hauling trucks and trailers.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Conduct Major & Minor Repairs, including brake systems, suspension, tires, air, and electrical systems.
• Handle Minor Diesel Engine Repairs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain an Organized Work Area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Team to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.
