Job summary

Alpha Transport Inc. is seeking a mobile Truck & Trailer Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of fuel-hauling trucks and trailers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing safety and quality while ensuring regulatory compliance.

We value a safety-oriented mindset, reliable teamwork, and the ability to log work with basic computer skills. CDL is preferred but not required; a valid driver’s license is needed to operate assigned equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining fuel-hauling trucks and trailers.
• Diesel engine knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills to log work and reports.
• CDL license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Conduct major and minor repairs including brakes, suspension, tires, air, and electrical systems.
• Handle minor diesel engine repairs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain an organized work area for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to minimize downtime.

We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focused Mobile Truck & Trailer Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of fuel-hauling trucks and trailers. What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose & Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on fuel-hauling trucks and trailers.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Conduct Major & Minor Repairs, including brake systems, suspension, tires, air, and electrical systems.
• Handle Minor Diesel Engine Repairs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain an Organized Work Area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Team to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Experience in Truck & Trailer Maintenance (fuel tanker experience a plus!).
• Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not required).
• Own Basic Tools to perform job functions.
• Basic Computer Skills to log work and complete reports.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Welding Experience (a plus but not required).
• Safety-Oriented Mindset with attention to detail.
