Job summary

The Operator Assessor & Mobile Training Centre Driver will support workforce development and safety excellence across Aecon project sites throughout the United States. This mobile role combines driving, equipment operation, and competency assessment to deliver hands-on training and evaluation in the field.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 7+ years operating mobile or construction equipment, ability to travel, and the ability to coach workers and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL or equivalent to operate a truck and trailer in the United States.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and document competency outcomes clearly.
• Experience in assessing practical equipment operation skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport the Mobile Training Centre to project sites across the United States.
• Conduct equipment operator assessments using simulator and practical tools.
• Provide coaching and feedback to workers and supervisors on competency gaps and actions.
