Job summary

Aecon is seeking a High Voltage Competency Assessor & Trainer to support the delivery of electrical safety training and workforce competency assessments across utility and infrastructure projects throughout the United States. Working with the Mobile Training Centre, you’ll combine field expertise with adult-learning coaching to ensure workers perform safely and to industry standards.

You will deliver hands-on training, conduct competency evaluations, identify gaps, and provide field coaching

Qualifications

• Extensive field experience in high-voltage utility work.
• Strong practical knowledge of overhead/underground distribution and transmission work.
• Experience training, coaching, or assessing utility workers at safety-sensitive sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led high-voltage electrical safety training across the United States.
• Conduct competency assessments using observations and practical evaluations.
• Provide coaching and feedback to workers and leaders on safety and competency gaps.
