Job summary

Aecon delivers complex infrastructure projects across North America and beyond. The Mobile Training Centre EHS Technical Trainer will deliver field-based safety and technical training at Aecon project sites throughout the United States, strengthening workforce competency and critical risk awareness.

You will facilitate adult learning for frontline workers and supervisors, adapt materials for site-specific hazards, and support continuous safety improvement within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience delivering EHS, construction safety, technical, craft, field, or competency-based training.
• Experience guiding frontline workers and supervisors through safety content.
• Ability to develop or adapt lesson plans and facilitator guides.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led EHS training across AEcon project sites in the U.S.
• Facilitate topics like risk management, lockout/tagout, electrical safety, fall protection.
• Adapt training to site hazards and workforce levels; use simulators.
