Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician who travels to customer locations to perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trailers across a North American fleet. This hands-on role emphasizes problem-solving, safe work practices, and high-quality service in the field.

You will service dry van, flatbed, and cargo trailers, with tools provided and support available to ensure timely, compliant, and professional service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trailer Technician or Trailer Mechanic.
• Liftgate repair experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs.
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair and replace trailer components including: Brake systems, Suspension systems, Electrical wiring and lighting, Floors, doors, frames, and structural components, Liftgate issues.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as required.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle.
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
